Evercore London: the office support that started with one urgent call
When a time-critical job needed rescuing in 2017, Oneplace2save stepped in. That first call grew into recurring storage, clearance, recycling and office reconfiguration work at Evercore's London headquarters.

How the project unfolded
- 01
One urgent job started a much longer relationship
In 2017, Evercore's office manager contacted Oneplace2save after another contractor could not complete a time-critical task. The facilities team needed somebody who could step in quickly, understand what had to happen and keep the office moving.

Two storage spaces had become a job of their own
At the beginning of the relationship, Evercore was using a large self-storage unit as well as substantial basement storage at its London office. Furniture being retained, items no longer needed and material awaiting a decision had accumulated together.

The job is not only taking things away
Evercore's workplace changes as teams, layouts and furniture requirements change. The work can involve clearing selected furniture, separating items for reuse or responsible recycling, and then returning to assemble and position what comes next.

When the office changes, the facilities team already knows who to call
The strongest result is not a single before-and-after photograph. It is that Evercore has continued to bring Oneplace2save back as storage is reviewed, furniture changes and working areas are recommissioned.

As the office evolves, the team returns
This is not a one-off clearance. As furniture and layouts change, Oneplace2save connects what leaves with what comes next: clear the outgoing items, identify practical recovery routes and install the replacement furniture.
- 01
Upgrade
New furniture and workplace layouts create the next brief. The facilities team identifies what must change and which areas need to keep working.

- 02
Clear
Outgoing furniture is removed in a controlled sequence, with attention to access and the operation of the wider office.

- 03
Recover
Furniture is assessed for continued use or responsible recycling, rather than treating every item as waste.
- 04
Rebuild
Replacement desks and workstation components are assembled, positioned and handed back ready for use.

Old furniture out. New workstations ready for use.
The latest photographed project combined both sides of the relationship. Existing furniture was removed for recycling while replacement furniture and workstation components were installed across the London headquarters.
Transcript / video description
Items were protected in reusable moving crates, components were kept together, and the team worked through the office in a controlled sequence. Desks, pedestals and monitor-arm components were assembled and positioned, with furniture-level cabling organised as each workstation was reset.
This was not a drop-and-leave delivery. The aim was to return usable working areas to the facilities team: old furniture out, replacement furniture installed and the next layout ready to move forward.
The detail behind the work
The challenge
Evercore first needed immediate cover for a time-critical task. The wider challenge then became clear: a large self-storage unit and substantial basement storage held a mixture of furniture to retain, reuse, recycle or remove, while the live London office continued to change.
The approach
Oneplace2save responded to the urgent task, then worked with the facilities team to sort stored furniture, reduce unnecessary storage, clear and recycle surplus items, and dismantle, move and install furniture as office areas were recommissioned.
The outcome
The facilities team gained one dependable point of contact for recurring office changes. Storage became more manageable, avoidable holding costs were reduced, and the November 2025 project removed old furniture while new workstations were installed and returned ready for use.
One urgent job started a much longer relationship
Oneplace2save took on the immediate work. The way that job was handled became the start of an ongoing relationship with the people responsible for Evercore's London workplace.
Two storage spaces had become a job of their own
Oneplace2save helped the facilities team work through what was there. Surplus furniture was cleared, suitable items were directed towards reuse or recycling, and the remaining inventory became easier to manage. The practical goal was simple: stop paying to store furniture without a clear future while keeping useful items available to the office.
The job is not only taking things away
Because the same team has supported the site since 2017, each new request begins with useful context. The building, the expected standard and the facilities team are already familiar—so the focus can stay on the current change rather than starting the relationship again.
The useful result is what no longer needs storing
A clearance is not successful because everything disappears. It works when retained items are easy to find, reusable furniture has a clear next destination and recyclable material leaves by the right route.
For Evercore, the continuing benefit has been a more deliberate approach to stored furniture and one team able to connect clearance with the next office setup. That reduces unnecessary holding cost without losing sight of what the workplace may need again.
When the office changes, the facilities team already knows who to call
What began as emergency cover in 2017 has become dependable facilities support: clear decisions on what leaves, a responsible route for surplus furniture and a team that can install what comes next.
