The details that keep the programme workable

A collection time is only useful if the lift is available, the loading bay is booked and the right floor is ready. These are the details we work through with you.

  1. 01

    The site

Floors, lifts, loading restrictions, protection requirements and the route out. Flag occupied offices and the trades working alongside us.

  2. 02

    The sequence

Agree what leaves first, what stays accessible and when new furniture is due. Plan each clearance or return delivery around refurbishment phases and the people working on site.

  3. 03

    The hours

Early starts, evenings and weekends can be planned around site rules and crew availability. Agree the working window when booking.

  4. 04

    The price

Review the inventory, access, labour, vehicles and item routes before quoting. Changes to volume, access or timing are discussed as a change in scope.

Reuse / Resale / Recycling

Before it becomes waste, check what it is worth.

A refurbishment or furniture upgrade can leave useful desks and chairs without a place to go. We assess what can be kept, reused or offered for resale, then agree recycling routes for the remaining items.

Where furniture has a recoverable value, we discuss it in the quote. Condition, demand and collection costs all matter; resale value is never assumed.

The details that affect the job.

Can you clear old furniture before replacements arrive?

Yes. We work with facilities managers and office managers as well as contractors. Share your furniture delivery dates, what needs removing and which areas must remain in use. We can plan the clearance, move retained items or arrange temporary storage around those dates. Reuse, resale and recycling options are agreed for the items being removed.

Can you work around other trades?

Yes. Share the site programme, working areas, access arrangements and site contact. We agree the clearance sequence and working windows with you before booking. Out-of-hours work is arranged in advance, subject to availability.

Can you clear one floor or phase at a time?

Yes. We can plan separate collections around the areas you release. Identify anything that must remain on site, items going into storage and the handover date for each phase.

What do you need to price the work?

The site postcode, rough quantities or an inventory, photos, floors and lift access, loading restrictions, target dates and any storage or return delivery needs. If those details need a closer look, we can discuss a site visit.

Can reusable furniture reduce the cost?

It can, where the furniture has an agreed resale value. We assess condition, current demand and collection costs before including any recovery value in the quote. Reuse and recycling options are discussed for the items being cleared.

Does clearance include demolition or strip-out?

This service covers furniture, agreed equipment and associated removal work. Building demolition, structural work, service disconnections and hazardous materials need a separately confirmed specialist scope. Tell us what the main contractor is responsible for so the boundaries are clear.

Since 2012

Experience & coverage

We have supported contractors since 2012, with further long-standing relationships beginning in 2020. The work ranges from clearing used office furniture to removing warehouse equipment so refurbishment teams can get on with their next phase.

Based in Hertfordshire, working across London and surrounding areas. Larger commercial clearance projects further afield are considered by scope; jobs over 100 miles from Hertfordshire or London need to be a substantial commercial clearance.
